Lumecca

Lumecca uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to improve skin tone and decrease hyperpigmentation caused by rosacea. After just a few treatments, our patients can notice significant improvements in their overall complexion and the clarity of their skin.

In certain patients, rosacea can affect more than the skin. Ocular rosacea is a condition that stems from rosacea, causing redness, burning and itching in the eyes. It often leads to chronic dry eye, but don’t worry, Lumecca can bring you the relief you’ve been looking for.

How Does Lumecca Work?

The Lumecca IPL therapy is an effective treatment that uses photothermolysis to restore and rejuvenate the skin. This comfortable anti-aging light treatment uses specific wavelengths of light that are absorbed by any pigmentation or redness in the skin, leaving you with a clear and reinvigorated complexion. If you have chronic dry eye caused by ocular rosacea, Lumecca can decrease the inflammation causing your symptoms.

Forma

Forma is a non-invasive, pain-free skin procedure that can increase collagen production in your face. This skin remodeling treatment is a safe and effective way to lift, tighten, and contour your skin.

In addition to its aesthetic benefits, Forma is also an effective dry eye treatment if your dry eye is caused by Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD).

How Does Forma Work?

Forma heats the skin using radiofrequency and thermal energy, which stimulates healing within the deep layers of your skin tissue. This gentle treatment can be used to address the signs of aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, and skin around the eyes that has lost its firmness.

To treat MGD, Forma uses the same heating method to release any debris from the clogged meibomian glands, helping to manage the symptoms of your dry eye at the source. Forma is an effective treatment for chronic dry eye and can decrease your need for other remedies such as warm compresses and artificial tears.

Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is a skin rejuvenation procedure that pairs micro-needling with radiofrequency energy to reform and revitalize the skin around and under the eye. In as little as three treatments, this procedure can improve the appearance of under eye bags, dark circles, and fine lines or wrinkles.

Banish Under Eye Bags with Morpheus

As we age, the collagen and elastin underneath your eyes can become weak, leading to sagging or puffiness. Unfortunately, this can result in stubborn under-eye bags. In the past, only surgeries could treat under-eye bags, but Morpheus8 offers a new way to relieve the negative effects of aging and genetics in this area.

Morpheus8 can tighten the skin under your eyes, helping to lift it and reduce bags. It can also make the skin in this area a bit thicker, reducing puffiness and dark circles.

Our optometrists will develop a fully customized plan for achieving your goals. While some people see excellent results after just one session, several sessions may offer the best benefits.

This procedure is a minimally invasive treatment that uses tiny needles to deliver radiofrequency energy deeply and precisely into the underlying layers of your skin. This triggers your body’s natural healing response, encouraging the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins that are essential for tight skin.

In addition to improving under eye bags, Morpheus8 can be used on any small hard-to-reach and facial soft tissue revealing a more youthful and radiant appearance. Some of the other issues Morpheus8 can address include:

  • Acne scarring
  • Large pores
  • Sun damage
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Irregular skin texture
  • Lines & wrinkles
