Dr. Sara Johnson graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry from Rockford College in Rockford, IL and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Johnson has cared for patients as an optometrist in the Colorado Springs area since May of 2009. She has experience in primary eye care, dry eye disease, and especially enjoys anything contact lens related. From cosmetic to therapeutic lenses, she welcomes any complex contact lens patients with unique needs.

Colorado State licensed and certified in ocular pharmaceutical agents, Dr. Johnson’s training and experience allow her to diagnose, treat, and manage or co-manage all eye conditions. Professional memberships include the American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association, and Southern Colorado Optometric Society.

Dr. Johnson has obtained the International Academy Certification in Myopia Management (IACMM). This designation is an advanced accreditation offered by the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (AAOMC) to individuals who have completed a comprehensive training program in myopia management and orthokeratology. By completing the AAOMC program, individuals can demonstrate a high level of expertise in myopia management and orthokeratology and enhance their ability to provide the best possible care to their patients.

Dr. Taylor Little graduated with a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Little is the Past President of the Southern Colorado Optometric Society, a member of the Colorado Optometric Association, and previously the Communications Director for the AOA Contact Lens and Cornea Section. Dr. Little completed the Colorado Optometric Association Lead On Program in 2022 and was awarded the Roger Kame Award in recognition of a member who has been a true innovator and leader in the field of contact lenses and anterior segment disease.

Dr. Little has been practicing in Colorado Springs since 2018. Dr. Little offers a full range of services including comprehensive vision examinations, diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, pre- and post-operative surgical care for LASIK and cataract surgery patients, therapeutic contact lens fitting, and myopia control management.

When not practicing Optometry, Dr. Little enjoys reading, pilates, and spending time with her husband and children.

Dr. Sallecchia graduated with honors from Ohio Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Pre-Professional Zoology and received her Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.

Dr. Sallecchia has been practicing in Colorado Springs since 2015. She enjoys finding individualized solutions for her patients and has experience in comprehensive family eye care, diagnosis and management of ocular disease, dry eye treatment, LASIK and cataract surgery co-management, and specialty contact lens fitting. As a parent, and someone who was nearsighted from a young age, myopia control is of particular interest to her.      

Dr. Sallecchia has served as President of the Southern Colorado Optometric Association and is a member of the American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association, and American Academy of Optometry, earning her Fellowship from the Academy in 2020.

Outside of optometry, Dr. Sallecchia enjoys hiking, trail running, and spending time outdoors with her husband and son. 

As a Doctor of Optometry, Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and Air Force officer, my mission has always been to deliver exceptional eye care in the most critical and underserved environments.

From my years as an Optometry Flight Commander at the U.S. Air Force Academy to my role leading national tele-optometry partnerships, I’ve worked at the intersection of clinical innovation, military readiness, and healthcare accessibility. I’ve operated in forward-deployed settings and also built scalable solutions to bring quality vision care to FQHCs, rural clinics, and government health systems.

Most recently, I served as Senior Government Account Liason and FQHC Account Manager at DigitalOptometrics, where I led enterprise engagements and helped deploy virtual eye care solutions across the U.S., supporting multi-state provider expansion.

Whether in uniform or in civilian life, I remain focused on building systems that expand access to care, improve clinical outcomes, and support the communities and service members who need it most.
