POST-REFRACTIVE SURGERY

Corneal irregularity induced by previous refractive surgery can present a unique challenge to both the doctor and patient. Irregular astigmatism, Keratectasia, or surgically induced distortions of the cornea can make conventional spectacles or contact lenses ineffective in correcting vision.

Proper fitting of contact lenses for the post-refractive surgery patient requires equipment and lenses not commonly found in most eye care practices. Caring for the refractive surgery contact lens patient is a natural extension of our practice because of our experience with Keratoconus, post-LASIK, PRK, Radial Keratotomy, and other special corneal conditions.
